We started at 7.00 am at the gliding club / Saal: Tony, Kay and me...
It was a nice trip, Tony drove in his English car (it's really funny when the driver sits on the right! ^^)
.. trough Belgium...
.. to France, where our car ferry would leave.. now it was 1.30 pm, our ferry should leave at 2.00 pm.. We prayed that we get it...
.. but God was against us: This is the 2o'clock ferry we didn't get..
(and that's the short distance we had to overcome o.Ô)
so we had to wait .. 2 hours..!
.. we took a little snack. Not really Fish and Chips, but nearly ^^ and after 8 hours of driving very yammie...
.. til OUR ferry arrived!
Yippie! ^^
But the hope to see something during the trip pointed out as silly.. Very English weather: FOG... i was not amused :-/
So we went inside and took another little snack (tomato-supe for 4,75€... o.Ô)
But it was unbelievable: We arrived Dover - and the fog was gone away! Only a little bit was left over. It looked still amazing!

The next Level was the English traffic.. Oh my God, believe me - that's a crazy thing.. You have to drive by the left in a roundabout! (traffic-circle..)...
... and the lorries are driving on the left! On the German fast line!! xD
All in all, in the evening we arrived at Tony's house where we could sleep that night. His familiy was very very friendly (Happy Birthday belated, Bradly! x) ) It was a nice time :)
In the evening Kay and me walked arround in Tony's hometown (Berkhamsted)
2nd day
Tony made the breakfast..
.. and to loose no time, we went soon into the train-station.
We left at London Euston and walked (with all the baggage - puh!) to Tony's Photostudio. That was like a dream for me ^^
After that we went on to walk through Lodon ^^
(I have to say: it's a nice city ^^)
At Liverpool-Station we said goodbye to Tony and took the underground to Queensway to see our hotel.
(Queensway, the street where our hotel was) After we moved into our room, we took the underground into the centre.
The English are very helpfull: At every light there was something like that on the ground.. very good. The traffic in London is blistering...

The St. Jame's Park was one of my favourites... There were squirrels.. and you could feed them! ^^ They were so cute...

This is one man of the guard at the Buckingham Palace.. hm.. I think this job is a little bit stupid... x) ^^
After this we took the train back to the hotel. It was a exhausting day...
3rd day
I liked the English busses very much. I love typical things ^^ Well, at this day we wanted to see the "Change of Guard" at the Buckingham Palace. So we walked the second time trough the St. Jame's Park (I wanted to feed the Squirrels again ^^)...
And in front of it the parade had just begun! It was a very complex thing.. o.Ô
.. and took nearly 2 hours..

.. passing the Tower Bridge... .. and the London Eye:
.. to Greenwich!
We walked to the famous Royal Observatory..
.. where we took a lot of (tourists-)pictures xD
After this nice trip we had to take the boat back to London-Centre...
...'cause we had a date with Steve and his wife Jill!
We met themin a "Spaghetti House", where we had a very nice, good and funny dinner :)
After the dinner Kay and me wanted to see London by night.. Really grandiose!

4th day
Taht day we had three topics:
HARRODS...
(Kay in front of "some" chocolate ^^)
(Kay with his new friend for 7,95 pound ^^)
(Me in this impressive huge, impressive nice and impressive expensive shopping mall..)
THE SCIENCE MUSEUM:
(funny things behind the glass.. many inventions.. for example condoms.. o.Ô really interesting museum...)
(and a place for kids - that was the best thing in the museum! ^^ Wanna be still a kid ^^)
COVENT GARDEN:
(better prices as in the Harrods, believe me..)
And the Entertainer were also much better xD
We walked forward through London.
5th day
In the morning, Kay and me walked arround at Queensway, to see some of the shops there. After that we wanted to meet Tony, Guy and Malcom at Liverpool Station for a special lunch...

We took the Stansted Express to reach the airport..
.. and after a difficult and annoying check-in and boarding we sat in the plane! ^^
..and flew back to good old Germany :)
We arrived at Frankfurt / Hahn at 17.45 pm, where Kay's mom was already waiting for us. After a supper in Offenbach we drove the last distance home...
Well, this was the trip to London by me and my boyfriend Kay. It was a fantastic time, but without some people it wouldn't have been so great. Thanks to everybody who helped us: Tony and his family, Steve and Jill, Maya and Helmut, Malcom, Guy, the nice woman from the hotel, the cashpoint and so on and so on.. ^^
Yes, and I'm sorry for my English xD not the best, I know, but I thought it would be the right decission for that trip ^^
